Xlear’s secret is the patented, natural saline spray containing xylitol—an ingredient which cleanses and moisturizes.
Normal saline nasal sprays can dry out the nasal passage, actually leaving it more irritated and susceptible to external contaminants. But with the addition of xylitol, Xlear Saline Nasal Spray with xylitol will moisturize and soothe your sinus and nasal passages.
Xylitol also has cleansing benefits; it almost acts like soap for your nose. The industry-leading formula alleviates congestion and also prevents bacteria and other pollutants from sticking to nasal tissues.
Now you can naturally promote upper respiratory health while alleviating congestion with Xlear Saline Nasal Spray with xylitol!
- Patented solution with Xylitol reduces tissue inflammation and naturally opens airways.
- Easy-to-use 1.5oz bottle delivers approx. 240 fine-mist sprays.
- Hypertonic solution is more effective than saline alone at rinsing, cleansing, and moisturizing.
- Non-GMO Project ingredients guarantee the products you put in your body are natural.
- Drug-free formula can be used as often as needed without the risk of addiction or rebound.
For best results, use at least twice daily; morning and night
From Dr. Jill Crista:
I find Xylitol to be one of the most steady and safe biofilm busters for the nasal and sinus passages. It’s so stealth in its action, my patients can often use it early in their treatment plan without aggravating symptoms. I add this to antimicrobial treatments for patients with persistent MARCoNS or MRSA on nasal swab testing.
Even though it’s kind and soothing to your nose, it’s not kind to the bad guys of the biofilm.
As I write in my book, Break the Mold, “Xylitol is a biofilm buster, meaning that it breaks up the slime layer protecting mold and its co-conspirators. Remember, once you’re exposed to a water-damaged building, the bad dudes that thrived in that sick building have moved into your sinuses. They survive in a biofilm, and it’s literally a film of slime mixed with bad-guy microbes. While antifungals work on bad-guy mold, and colloidal silver works on bad-guy bacteria, xylitol chips away at the slime they’re hiding in.”
Xylitol also has anti-Strep activity. And to sweeten the deal, it leaves a slightly sweet aftertaste on the back of your tongue after using it intranasally, even though it’s not sugar.
